Privacy notice

Last updated · 2026-04-21 · Version française

This notice explains how Farmer1st handles personal data collected through this website (farmer1st.org). It does not cover data flows inside the Farmer1st platform itself — those are governed by the data-processing agreements signed with each client and by the explicit authorizations set by the acting parties (farmers, cooperatives, brands, NGOs, governments).

What we collect

On this website, we collect only what is needed to run the site and respond to inquiries:

  • Contact data you choose to send us — name, email address, and the content of your message when you write to us at contact@farmer1st.org.
  • Basic technical logs generated by our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) — request metadata such as IP address, user agent, referrer, and timestamp — kept for security and debugging.

We do not use third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or cross-site cookies on this website.

How we use it

  • To answer your questions or set up a demo when you contact us.
  • To keep the website secure, available, and free of abuse.

We do not sell or rent personal data collected through this website.

Legal basis

We process contact data on the basis of your request (pre-contractual steps and legitimate interest in responding). We process technical logs on the basis of legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and operational.

How long we keep it

  • Contact messages: as long as needed to follow up and maintain our business relationship. Typically deleted within 24 months of the last interaction if no engagement follows.
  • Technical logs: typically 30–90 days, as set by our hosting provider.

Who can see it

Access to contact data is limited to Farmer1st staff who need it to respond to you. Technical logs are held by Cloudflare, Inc., our hosting provider. We do not transfer website data outside that perimeter.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, write to us at contact@farmer1st.org. If you are in the EU or EEA, you may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
